Police services with the Township are performed by members of
the Ingham County Sheriff's Office via a
contractual agreement between the township and Sheriff's Office. The Ingham County
Sheriff's Office-Delhi Township Division is located at
2045 Cedar Street.
In addition to what
one would consider normal police functions, the Delhi Division also
offers some unique and beneficial services to citizens of the community. The Delhi Division provides assistance and
resources when neighborhoods wish to participate in a "Neighborhood Watch"
program and has a Community Policing-Business Officer trained to handle any business
related complaints, or merely assist the business owner with any problem that relates to
the special needs of businesses. The Delhi Division also has 3
Community Police officers who work in specific areas of the township.
